First of all,  I need to express the emotion that I got from watching this guy sing.  I saw a snippet when I was watching tv about him. His name is Arnel Pineda and he is a Filipino singer-songwriter that joined the legendary band "Journey" in 2007.  I cannot believe the power in his voice, it brought tears to my eyes.  You should check him out, he's so rad!

Can I buy you a drink Coco Chanel...?

I feel like the wisdom Ms. Chanel shared in the past is so important for anybody to follow today.  Fashion is not just the clothing or accessories we wear, it's all over the world we live in.  I try to embrace that daily.  The good lord above made us different so we can inspire each other!!!  There should be no competition in fashion.

Life has been a little hectic for me these days...the hubster and I are in the process of moving to a new home here in Richmond and in less than 2 weeks we will be saying goodbye to our downtown loft that we have lived in for 3 years.  I feel a little melancholy about it but that is normal I think.  We are moving to a place with a fenced in backyard for our dog, I will be getting an extra room to create my LADYSPACE....AHHHHHH!!!!  I cannot wait to go antique and consignment shopping.   Is it just me or do any of you out there worry about your clothes and shoes being moved over the furniture???  LOL  I could care less if our couch gets dinged....DON'T mess with my clothes or I will go bananas ass bonkers on you, HA!!!!

Met Gala 2013 Red Carpet favorites....

Okay I had to do a post about my favorite looks of the 2013 Met Gala. Especially because of the theme....I am swooning!  "Punk: Chaos to Couture"....there were some AMAZING looks and I have to share which celebs were in my opinion the best dressed!

I laughed so hard I needed stitches....

So...my weekend was fabulous and then some!  Couldn't of asked for a better time with my bestie Kristin!

We started out getting mani/pedi's and then the cocktails started around 3pm!!!  We had jumbo margarita's at this place called Guapo's....when I say "jumbo" I mean it costed almost 14 dollars, LOL....and when you have little food in your stomach any drink is going to go down quite nicely and you could care less about the cost.

After drinking those lovely marg's we went to this fabulous restaurant "The Curious Grape"....This place is awesome!  My friend suggested it and so glad we went!  Perfect stop for dinner before the real fun began.  Sorry i'm not sorry for not taking more photos....when you are out having fun and shooting the shit with your gal pal you lose track..

Then....we laughed so hard we needed stitches.  

I cannot tell you how funny Sarah is.  I was crying. And a first for me and my friend....we sat in the very front row so of course she picked on us a little but nothing too bad....she's hysterical.  Such a cool chick in person too.  I love her style,her hair is GORGEOUS, and she said I was so cute so that made me love her even more, hehe!!!!  Don't be jealous....

If you have not read her book yet, you have to pick it up.  I pretty much finished the book in two hours last night.  I was laughing out loud in bed, my dog was looking at me like I was nuts...

And this pic..  This is how much of a party animal I am.  My friend captured me passed out on her couch with her doggy cuddled up on me.  What time was this pic taken you ask?  It was 9:30 at night. LOL  add a little day drinking in and then a few drinks at the comedy show = I am a cheap date....my hubby would be so proud, LOL!  I woke up Sunday morning and found this on my phone....gotta love it!

I am sad this weekend has passed, I had such a good time!

Drinks, comedians, and a bestie....

Good morning my sunshiners!!!!!

Hot damn I have a fab weekend ahead of me!  Going to D.C. Saturday to visit a bestie!  She is more like family to me.  She grew up with my older brother and when I moved to Richmond 3 years ago I discovered she lived here too!  In such a short amount of time we developed a very close friendship!  I could not imagine not having her in my life!  She moved to D.C. a year or so ago so we always make time for GIRLS WEEKENDS!

We have a stellar weekend filled with mani/pedi's, drinks, dinner, drinks (hehe) and I am so stoked because we are seeing this funny lady perform live Saturday night....Sarah Colonna/bad ass comedian from Chelsea Handler on E!  She is hysterical and we get to see her, don't be jealous!  She has the sense of humor that I love.  Sarcasm, sarcasm, sarcasm....

I can't wait to laugh my ass off with my buddy and just spend some quality girlfriend time that I need!!!!
